ATOMIC SALVAGE: Panton Era - Block Langenthal Transition-Evolution Dinnerware

Presenting award winning Block Langenthal Transition Evolution dinnerware designed by Gerard Gulotta for Block (of Switzerland) around 1970. The bold colors and patterns along with the simple lines and shapes makes each of these a piece of Modern Art.

Transition was available in solid white along with a number of very mod patterns that were designed by Jack Prince in the early 1970s - this Jack Prince design is the hard-to-source Evolution. Evolution features a deep yellow mustard background with fabulous abstract decoration in the center in dijon mustard, ochre, brown, orange/russet, and black - the underside of the plate is white.

Each is in unbelievably fantastic vintage condition with no chips, cracks and minimal or no surface wear. Each is marked on its respective underside as illustrated in the photos below.
